Glass Designs has developed a unique collection of toughened antique mirrors, offering a range of options to suit the requirements of any project. The Galaxy range has 11 unique products, perfectly suited for the residential, hospitality, commercial sectors and can achieve a maximum size of 3200mm x 1400mm.
TOUGHENED ANTIQUE MIRROR SPLASHBACKS
Glass Design has developed a unique collection of antique mirrors, offering a range of options to suit the requirements of the project. The GD antique range has 11 unique products, along with our 4 standard stock antique range. All produced in-house by hand or by machine depending on the type of antique mirror required. Our in house silvering process allows glass designs to toughen both antique & standard mirrors. This unique service makes glass designs the obvious choice for large residential, hospitality & commercial developments when toughened antique and mirror glass have been specified.
TOUGHENED MIRROR SPLASHBACKS
Toughened Mirrored splashbacks are made using a bespoke process. Firstly the glass is toughened in a normal way and then secondly silvered to create a mirrored finish on the glass. Silvering or mirroring is accomplished by chemically depositing Silver Nitrate then copper and finally a layer of paint protection on to the glass surface creating a high quality reflective surface. We have our own silvering plant which enables us to cater for the individual or batch runs.
