This historic building in Grosvenor Sqr was chosen to become the latest addition to the prestigious hospitality sector in London. 31 rooms, individually designed to cater for each guests comfort and well-being. The format was clear from the start, intricate detailing from the moment you walked through the grand entrance into the incredible foyer. Cabochon marble throughout the bathrooms, individually styled rooms with Egyptian silks and custom made four poster beds.
Black and white mirrors adorn ceilings in the main foyer and restrooms which ooze opulence and glamor, stopping guests in their tracks. Discreet fixings were specified to ensure the mirrored ceilings are secure, but not to compromise the design. The black and white theme carried through into the guests shower and bathrooms with the addition of opti clear glass for the showers and bath screens. Venetian antique mirrors were also specified to wrap around each of the suites upper walls, adding the hint of an 18th century feel to the interior decor.
Having worked alongside the main contractor on previous projects, we fully understood the level of detail required for the duration of the project. Bespoke bathrooms and hardware and the detailing of the mirrors throughout the build, along with the antique finishes were presented and agreed by the client. Regular meetings with the client was paramount to providing a quality service throughout the duration of the project.
All 31 bespoke rooms and communal areas of the project were completed on time and to the clients satisfaction, opening it’s doors and welcoming guests once more. A fantastic project to be involved in, from the outset to the handover and a great addition to the Glass Designs portfolio boutique hotels.
