Laminated glass remains safe even when broken, making it a natural choice for so many residential and commercial specialty glass applications. Balustrades, stair treads and glass floors all utilize laminated interlayers, which makes sure the safety aspect is adhered to, as well as the visual aspect for each project.
Laminated glass is manufactured by sandwiching a piece of specialist PVB resin between two pieces of glass in a specially adapted industrial oven, which allows the glass to be held together by the inner layer to provide both safety and security.
