Silvering glass enables the mirrors to be toughened, which is the perfect solution for splash backs and high traffic areas. This method of processing has several benefits by protecting the glass from heat and provides strength around the many socket cut outs, normally found in the kitchen workspace.
The silvering process is accomplished by chemically depositing silver nitrate then copper and finally a layer of paint protection on to the glass.
